Welcome!

Behave Yourself LLC is a small ABA practice led by Becky Babek, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA. I personally assess each client, develop and monitor treatment, work directly with caregivers, and closely supervise the RBTs providing day-to-day services.

Treatment focuses on meaningful communication, independence, relationships, safety, and everyday routines that matter to the child and family.

Growing up, my mom would often tell me, “Behave yourself!”—usually with the expectation that I would make good choices and stay out of trouble. The phrase stuck with me, and it felt like a playful, personal name for my practice.

But the work goes much deeper than simply expecting “good behavior.” At Behave Yourself, behavior is treated as communication—it provides important information about what a person needs, what they are experiencing, and what they are learning from their environment. My work centers on dignity, communication, independence, and meaningful changes that improve everyday quality of life.

Hi, I’m Becky!

Before becoming a behavior analyst, I was an elementary and special education teacher. Through my work in classrooms, clinics, and family homes, I have supported children and young adults with a wide range of strengths, needs, and learning styles. Those experiences taught me that meaningful treatment begins with truly knowing the individual—the way they communicate, what motivates them, what makes daily life difficult, and what matters most to them and their family.

I founded Behave Yourself LLC in 2020 because I wanted to provide ABA in a personal, thoughtful, and highly individualized way. I have intentionally kept the practice small so I can know each client, remain actively involved in treatment, communicate directly with caregivers, and provide close guidance and support to every RBT on my team.

Every treatment plan begins with a question: What would make everyday life better for this person and their family? I use the science of behavior to understand what is happening, why it may be happening, and what we can change to help. Goals are developed collaboratively, progress is measured carefully, and treatment evolves as we learn more about the client.

My mission is to help each person develop skills that make life safer, more independent, more connected, and more fulfilling. Progress may look like communicating a need, participating more comfortably in a family routine, building a friendship, handling an unexpected change, completing a self-care task, or enjoying a successful outing together. The most important outcomes are the ones that create a meaningful difference in the client’s actual life.

Families deserve honest communication, individualized care, and a clinical team that listens. Service recommendations at Behave Yourself are guided by the client’s needs, the family’s priorities, and the progress shown over time. I look forward to learning about your child, hearing what matters to your family, and determining together whether Behave Yourself LLC is the right fit!
